As the only statewide anti-hunger conference, Fighting Hunger in Maryland connects leaders from state and local agencies, nonprofits, schools, and advocacy organizations to inform, engage, and inspire action to promote equity in food access and nutrition in Maryland. This year’s conference theme, Food For Thought, will explore the causes of hunger and offer strategic outreach, advocacy, and partnership ideas to address hunger and nutrition in Maryland, and to make our communities healthy and hunger-free.
Expert presentations and interactive workshops will cover topics including: Federal and State Anti-Hunger Policy and Advocacy, Innovative Program and Policy Design, Food System Approaches to Fighting Hunger, Promoting Racial Equity and Social Justice in the Food System, and many more.
