Reminder...
The Child Nutrition/WIC Reauthorization USDA Listening Session for the Mid-Atlantic Region (DE, DC, MD, NJ, PA, PR, VA, WV) will take place on
August 6, 2008 from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm

If you are a pediatrician, child care provider, school official, state official, advocate, or anyone who cares about programs such as WIC, school breakfast, school lunch, afterschool snacks or child care meals that provide nutritious food to children who might otherwise go hungry, you should attend the USDA listening session to ensure that your voice is heard on behalf of children.

Look for a Summer Meal Site near you!
Children need healthy nutritious food all year long, even when they are not in school. When school is out in the summertime, children ages 18 years and under can get free nutritious meals and snacks through the Summer Meals program. The program sites are located at schools and organizations throughout the state of Maryland.
