BALTIMORE, November 4, 2020 – Maryland Hunger Solutions is proud to offer congratulations to all of the winning Maryland candidates from yesterday’s election.
More than two million Marylanders participated in the election, casting their votes for Members of Congress, school boards, the Mayor, and the City Council in Baltimore, as well as for other local offices and referenda.
We look forward to working with these elected officials to address food insecurity and poverty in every part of our state. We are gratified that our system reflects respect for the voters and the votes that they cast.
As the seventh state to ratify the constitution and join the United States, we look forward to working with state partner organizations and national leaders to address both our local and national priorities.
